What brickster.ai is
An independent radar for the Databricks ecosystem. It reads the news, releases, videos, community threads and open-source projects every day, so that keeping up takes minutes rather than an evening.
How it works
A pipeline runs once a day. It pulls from public sources: vendor blogs and release notes, GitHub releases and projects, YouTube, Hacker News, the Databricks Community forum, Stack Overflow and Reddit. Nothing behind a login, nothing scraped from a private workspace.
Summaries, topic groupings and the daily digest are generated by AI, then indexed so the assistant can answer questions with citations back to the original source. Machine summaries are a convenience, not an authority: every item links out to what it came from, and the link is the thing to trust.
The weekly newsletter and the long-form articles are written by a person, checked against primary sources before they go out.
Who runs it
Working data engineers who spend their days in Databricks and wanted a focused home for the community. Names, backgrounds and certifications are on the contributors page. If you have an article, a script, a fix or an idea worth sharing, the contribute page is the way in.
