Daily Brick

Five questions. Three minutes. Same for everyone.

A daily Databricks workout: Spark and Delta semantics, the details that decide whether a pipeline is correct or just quiet. Every code question was executed before it shipped, so the answer key is what the engine actually printed, not what a model believed.

How these questions are made (and what they are not)

  • Code questions are executed on Spark with Delta Lake before publication, and the run decides the answer key. The engine version is shown next to each answer. A question whose printed output stops matching its answer fails the check and cannot ship.
  • Questions that depend on Unity Catalog, serverless, or Lakeflow behaviour are not executable locally, so they never carry the executed badge and rest on cited documentation instead.
  • Every question is original, written from public documentation and release notes. Nothing here is drawn from real exam content, and no result predicts a certification outcome.
  • Daily Brick is unofficial practice. brickster.ai is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Databricks, Inc. Spotted a wrong answer? Tell us and it gets pulled the same day.
