Genie Agent mode

The agentic reasoning loop behind Genie Agents. Instead of answering from a single query, it builds and refines a research plan, runs multiple iterative queries and returns a report with findings, visualizations and citations. Databricks says it is now available for all Genie Agents. The Agent mode APIs, which bring the same multi-step reasoning into custom applications over Server-Sent Events, went generally available separately on 2026-08-27.
