Storage ecosystem (on-premises storage via OpenSharing)

A partner program in which storage vendors build the OpenSharing protocol into their platforms, so Unity Catalog can govern on-premises and hybrid data and Databricks can query it in place without copying it. At launch on 2026-06-10, MinIO's integration was generally available, Everpure's was in Private Preview, and Qumulo's and VAST Data's were planned for Private Preview in July and August 2026.
