TutorialsCreate a Classic Databricks Workspace using AWS Automated Configuration
Databricks classic and hybrid workspaces on AWS can be automatically provisioned using an IAM temporary delegation flow that configures underlying cloud resources and networking. This automated setup process creates necessary cross-account IAM roles, custom VPCs, and workspace storage buckets while handling authorization and resource deployment directly through the Databricks account console.
TutorialsBackend PSC for GCP Databricks: The Setup Most Teams Get Wrong
Configuring Private Service Connect for Databricks on Google Cloud requires creating two separate endpoints in your VPC for the workspace REST API and the secure cluster connectivity relay. These endpoints must then be registered in the Databricks account console and linked via network and private access settings during workspace creation.
TutorialsWhy Is Databricks Express Setup So Easy?
Databricks express setup provides a no cloud credentials required method to launch a fully managed production capable workspace using a time and credit limited trial. Users can sign up with email, configure account settings and regions, and immediately access features like sample data and serverless compute.
NewsDatabricks and SAP: Building the Next Generation of Enterprise Data and Analytics
The Databricks and SAP partnership enables enterprises to securely share SAP data products directly into Databricks using delta sharing and native tools like Business Data Cloud. The video demonstrates a supply chain use case where Databricks agents use this integrated SAP data to automate predictive maintenance workflows and procurement actions.
NewsBuilding on Lakebase | Episode 1: Meet Lakebase
Lakebase is a fully managed serverless PostgreSQL database from Databricks that disaggregates storage and compute for variable AI and operational workloads. The video demonstrates provisioning a Lakebase project, creating operational tables, and syncing curated Lakehouse data to build the foundation for an agentic support co-pilot.
TutorialsFinally, a Simple Way to Deploy Databricks Hybrid Workspaces
The video introduces the platform deployment kit, a web user interface designed to simplify the creation of Databricks hybrid workspaces without manual coding. It demonstrates how to use the tool to configure network, storage, and security settings, generate the corresponding Terraform template, and execute the deployment.
